We're raising £8,500 to pay for the first & only Islamic center because the local Muslims urgently require dedicated place

 

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM WE'RE TRYING TO SOLVE?

 

We need a dedicated place for the local Muslims to go where they can educate themselves on Islam i.e by learning the Quran, Islamic studies, arabic. Their is no where local for the community to go, hence the lack of access to Islamic education. This will be a focal point of contact for Non Muslims as well as the Muslims where they can find further information on Islam out of their own freewill, in a safe friendly open environment.

 

WHY DO WE CARE ABOUT THIS PROJECT?

 

This is highly important to the community, as dedicated parents have come together to raise their concerns about not having a permanent place for children or adults where they can go to classes and learn about Islam in an uplifting environment. This will be the first & only Islamic center in Letchworth, where we will be able to run our daily activities/classes with no restrictions. Hence, need help in securing these premises on a permanent basis In sha Allah.

 

HOW WILL THE MONEY BE SPENT?

 

For the property lease - we need £6,000 for rent. £1,000 for service charge. £40 for light maintenance. £1,408 for vat.

 

For Muslims, the building of an Islamic center, or contributing towards it, is one of the most virtuous forms of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) that Allah SWT has bestowed upon us. Sadaqah Jari- yah will benefit the donor long after they have deceased. We pray that you will take up this opportunity to invest in your Aakhira (the Hereafter).
